The new iPhone X uses face recognition technology to unlock your phone. Even a glance at the phone will unlock it. People are very excited about this, but personally, I’m not keen on this technology. I don’t want my iPhone to recognize my face, because that means before long, technology will again advance, and I fear that means Siri will start critiquing things:
“Oh, nice Missy. I see we didn’t bother showering again today.”
“THAT’S how you left the house?”
“Who told you that color lipstick looked good on you? They are NOT your friend.”
“I’m sure you’ve been told this before, but one eye is definitely smaller than the other when you smile.”
“No. I refuse to do anything other than unlock until you wipe that look off your face.”
“I don’t recognize the person you’re with, but they dressed up far more than you did.”
No, I don’t need that kind of stress in my life. Back off, phone. xoxo
